The course is an immersive four-week journey covering classroom topics from community-based Nature Conservation,  Tribal, Cultural and Minority Rights to field-based Ethnographic Research for Environment and Development to Education and the everchanging lived environment of traditional communities. The Course is set in the beautiful BOHD Siksha Samiti Teacher Training Campus on the periphery of the Sariska Tiger Reserve.​

Join an extraordinary four-week immersive learning experience set amidst the vibrant cultural landscape and rich biodiversity of the Sariska Tiger Reserve, Rajasthan, India. "Tribal Voices, Living Landscapes" blends classroom instruction with hands-on fieldwork, empowering you with practical skills in conservation, ethnographic research, education, and community-based development.

 

Set within the picturesque BOHD Siksha Samiti Teacher Training Campus bordering Sariska, a reserve renowned for its thriving tiger and leopard population and stunning biodiversity; you will live and directly engage with tribal communities, exploring real-world challenges and solutions related to conservation, sustainable livelihoods, education, gender equity, and minority rights.
